Yoga Poses Improving Your Eyesight

Eyes are one of the most vital sense organs. You would not be able to see and enjoy the world around you if they are not there to guide you. Without them, it would not be easy to live a comfortable life for sure. So, it is up to you to protect them. For that, yoga can be a great way to keep your vision healthy. Check out these healthy eye exercises:

  • Palming stance: Find a nice place to sit and relax. Now rub your palms in order to heat them up. Now close your eyes and place your palms over them. Breathe deeply and feel the warmth through your palms. Make use of all the heat generated in your hands and let it transfer to your eyes. After that, lower your palms and make sure your eyes are still closed. Do this, two to three times and then open your eyes gently.
  • Blinking stance: Keep your eyes open, and then blink them for 10-12 times really fast. Then close them for at least 20 seconds. While closing make sure that you breathe in and out deeply. Do this for 4-5 times.
  • Viewing sideways: Sit down on a comfortable chair. Bring your left arm forward with your thumb pointing outwards. Stare at it without straining your eyes. Now slowly move your arm towards the left side while keeping it extended. While doing this, keep looking at your thumb and move your eyes with it. Do not move your neck at all. Take your eyes to as far as possible towards your side in order to see your thumb. Repeat the same for the other side and relax.
  • Rotational stance: Sit on a comfortable chair. Place your palms on your thighs. Now, raise one arm forward with the thumb pointing out. Look at it. Starting rotating your arm into a comfortable, but a big circle. Keep looking at your thumb while doing this in order to let your eyes rotate. Use both clockwise and counter clockwise rotations for this stance.

So, yoga can definitely help you to get a brilliant eyesight if you practise these stances.
