Yoga can greatly benefit you if you use the various poses in your daily fitness routine. If you have a lot of back pain then the below mentioned poses can help you out.

  • Downward facing dog stance:This stance aids to stretch the back muscles for better flexibility. A great workout for your lower back muscles and also for strengthening your spine.Place your hands on the floor. Now raise your knees above the grown without moving your hands. Try to stretch extend your legs fully so that your hip area can be elevated. While holding this pose, breathe in and out for 5 to 12 times. Then come back slowly.
  • Child’s pose: Get in a crawling position similar to a child and extend both arms in the front with your head downward. Place your hips on the heels while doing this. Stay in this pose for a minute while breathing slowly and fully. Then come back to initial position.
  • Pigeon stance:Get in a downward facing dog pose. Now bring your right knee forward and carefully bend it perpendicular to your left leg. Keep your back straight while in this pose. Extend your left leg as far as you can.
  • Triangle stance:Lunge your left foot back so that there is enough gap between both legs. Now while turning your chest touch your extended foot with one arm while extended the other towards the ceiling. Keep it that way and breathe.
  • Cat and Cow stance:For this, get in a pose on all fours similar to a cat. Now with head held high and back straightened, arch it with a stretch as conveniently as you can. Rotate your shoulder blades while doing this.
  • Upward-forward bend:Stand straight with gap in between your legs and relaxed knees. Now bend forward while exhaling down towards the floor. Bend as far as you can and keep doing it for a couple of times slowly.
  • Upward facing dog:Lie down flat on the ground. Place your hands on your middle ribs. Press your feet towards the floor and lift your chest upwards with your back’s support just like you do crunches but with straight legs.
