Olive Oil: Olive oil provides fast relief from earache. It acts as a lubricant and helps to remove an infection from the ear. This oil is also helpful in stopping any buzzing sensations inside the ears. Everyday for 2-3 times put 3-4 drops of lukewarm olive oil into the ear canal and observe the result.
Garlic: The antibiotic properties of garlic can control earache due to an ear infection. Heat 1 teaspoon of minced garlic in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil. Cool the mixture and filter that oil and put 2-3 drops of this oil for 2-4 times everyday in the aching ear.
Onion: Onion is one of the best home remedies for an earache. Onion has great antiseptic and antibacterial properties that work well for treating the problem. Extract 1 tablespoon of onion juice and heat it over and put 2-3 drops of the lukewarm juice into affected ear 3-4 times a day.
Ginger: Strong anti-inflammatory properties of ginger may treat ear infections and also act as an excellent natural painkiller. Extract juice from a ginger and put it directly into the ears in order to get relief from pain. Put it for 3-4 times a day for the best results.
Peppermint: Both peppermint leaves and peppermint oil are very helpful for curing earaches. Put the juice in a dropper and then put some drops inside the aching ear for 4-5 times a day and wait for the result.
Hot Water Bottle: To get relief from pain, put a moist and heated cloth around the infected ear. For doing that, you can wrap a hot water bottle with a towel and press the bottle against your aching ear for a few minutes.
Mullein Oil: Common mullein is very effective for treating earache. For ear treatment, the Ayurveda ingredients are infused into olive oil and then the oil can be put into the aching ear for 4-5 times in a day.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple Cider Vinegar is also very effective ingredient for treating earache. Just add a few drops of the fluid to the ears after warming it and vibrate the ear by holding the earlobe. This is to let the fluid move down inside the hole.
