An Irish equestrian Cian O Connor, 12 November 1979 born, competes in show jumping, currently ranks fiftieth in FEI Rolex Ranking List. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games. He was also a member of the Irish Nations Cup team, in Dublin Horse show 2012 won the Aga Khan Trophy. He was a late nomination to the Irish Team for the London Olympics and made a final in two individual competition rounds, after one horse failed a routine test for the competition.
He won the gold medal in individual jumping at the Summer Olympics 2004 in Athens but his award was later made void after the sports ruling body found that his horse had consumedbanned substances in its body while performing games.
