Masala Dalia Recipe (4 servings):
•Cracked wheat (soaked): 1 cup
•Ginger: ½ inch
•Green chillies: 2
•Chopped onion: 1 medium
•Oil: 1 tbsp.
•Cumin seeds: 1 tsp.
•Turmeric powder: ¼ tbsp.
•Salt: as per requirements
•Green peas: 1 cup
•Tomato: 1 medium-sized
Method of preparation:
•Take ginger and chop it into fine pieces.
•Now, chop onions and green chilies in medium-sized pieces.
•Meanwhile, heat some oil in a pan.
•Add some cumin seeds to it and sauté till it turns light brown.
•After that, add ginger, onion and green chillies and again sauté till it gets light in colour.
•Drain the extra oil out and add Dalia to it. Keep mixing.
•Now add salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
•Also, add the peas and 3 cups of water and stir it well.
•Cover with a lid and cook on low heat until it is cooked.
•Add chopped tomatoes to it and mix again. Serve it hot.
