The Fenugreek Curry Sprout recipe (4 servings)


  • Corn, vegetable or peanut oil: 2 tablespoon
  • Finely chopped onion: 1 cup
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Sweet pepper: ½ cup chopped.
  • Curry powder: 2 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper: ¼ teaspoon
  • Soy sauce: 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken stock or vegetable stock: ½ cup
  • Fenugreek sprouts: 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • For liquid corn flour:
  • I teaspoon of corn flour mixed in 1 tablespoon of water

Method of preparation:

  • Heat oil in the large frying pan
  • Sauté the garlic, onion and pepper
  • Now add curry, soy sauce, cayenne, fenugreek sprouts and vegetable/chicken stock
  • Simmer for 2 minutes
  • Now stir the whole thing in liquid corn flour and thicken the consistency of the sauce.
  • Place the sprouts in the bowl and enjoy.
