Chicken Parmigiana Penne

Ingredients for chicken:

  • One or two packages Foster Farm's Chicken Tenders.
  • One cup flour.
  • One cup seasoned bread crumbs.
  • One cup grated parmesan.
  • Two teaspoon salt.
  • Two teaspoon garlic powder.
  • Two teaspoon pepper.
  • Two eggs.
  • Olive oil (for frying chicken).


Ingredients For sauce:

  • One and half - 24 of jars marinara sauce (I used San Marzano Marinara).
  • One fourth yellow onion (chopped).
  • One clove garlic (crushed).
  • Half teaspoon dried basil.
  • Halfteaspoon dried oregano.
  • One fourthteaspoon red pepper flakes.
  • Drizzle of olive oil.
  • Onebox Penne pasta.
  • Fourof mozzarella cheese (grated).
  • Twoof mild cheddar (grated).
  • Half cup parmesan.


Method:

  • Begin by the cheek: In med. pot, drizzle in a bantam olive oil.
  • Add onions pluspanfryabove med/low-slungpassiontill almost glowing.
  • Add garlic and cook for another couple minutes.
  • Add in basil, oregano, pepper flakes, &impertinence. Lower heat to smolder.


To arrange jumpy:

  1. In large zip lock bag, add 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon pepper.
  2. Jiggle to combine.
  3. Add in chicken tenders and tremor to thoroughly coat chicken pieces.
  4. In med size shallow bowl, using a fork or whisk, mix the eggs until they are light and frothy.
  5. In shallow bowl or baking saucer, combine together one cup bread fragments, one cup parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon pepper.
  6. Using forceps, take a piece of chicken from sprinkle bag (shaking off excess flour, dip into egg mixture, and then place into cash crumb/parmesan mixture, coat chicken thoroughly.
  7. Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over med low passion.
  8. Cook chicken in sauté pan a few pieces at a time, until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Remove cooked smithereens and place on wire cooling rack (like the kind you'd use for cookie baking).
  10. Repeat searching& frying procedure until all chicken has been cooked.
  11. In the meantime, cook pasta according to package directions.

 

To a mass:

  1. Mix cooked pasta with pasta mush, reserving about one cup.
  2. Add ½ cup parmesan cheese to saucy pasta.
  3. Pour into frame baking plate (freezer & oven safe).
  4. Place ready chicken on top of pasta.
  5. Teaspoon on remaining pasta sauce and top with grated mozzarella & cheddar cheese.
  6. Protection with foil.
  7. Scorch at 350* pending hot besides cheese is liquefied.
  8. I made three med size casseroles and used 3 packages Foster Homesteads Chicken Tenders, three jars of pap, and two packets of penne pasta.
  9. No tuning was made to the flour and bread speck /stroller coat, excepting I hand-me-down three rated eggs for plummeting. 
  10. To the three are of sauce, I recycled half large blond onion, two garlic fragments, one teaspoon basil, one tea spoon oregano, half teaspoon red pepper flakes.
