Almond Crusted Tilapia



  • Two eggs 
  • One teaspoon lemon pepper 
  • One teaspoon garlic pepper 
  • One cup ground almonds 
  • One cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 
  • Eight (six ounce) tilapia fillets 
  • One fourth cup all-purpose flour for dusting 
  • Six tablespoons butter 
  • Salt to taste.
  • One cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese .
  • Eight sprigs parsley .
  • Eight lemon wedges.




  1. Beat the eggs with the lemon pepper and garlic pepper until mingled; set aside.
  2. Stir composed ground almonds with one cup of Parmesan cheese in a low dish until collective; set aside.
  3. Dust the tilapia fillets with flour, and shake off excess. Rise and fall the tilapia in egg, then press into the almond mixture.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high warmness.
  5. Cook tilapia in melted butter until golden brown on together sides, two to three minutes per side.
  6. Lessenwarmth to medium, and season fillets with salt if desired.
  7. Sprinkle the tilapia with the residual Parmesan cheese, cover, and remain cooking until the Parmesan cheese consumesmolten, around five minutes.
  8. Transfer the tilapia to a serving dish, and enhancer with parsley coils and lemon slices to assist.
